This is a good place to come for anyone visiting and wants to try a variety of Cajun/Creole and southern comfort food without having to order a lot of things on the menu. However, this restaurant is a little further from the French Quarter and requires driving or taking a car service there. Worth the drive if you have the time.

Top Notch Cajun Food served in a all you can eat buffet for the price of a fast food hamburger meal. The fried catfish is on par or better than Middendorf’s in Manchac. The gumbo is a favorite as well. But its all good. The wait staff is superb! Unlike most buffets where they only look at taking away the dirty dishes, these folks give you regular sit down restaurant service. Always fresh and hot with delicious deserts included!

Amazing! Service is exceptional. The waitresses keep your table clean (of used plates) and your drinks filled. Everything I ate was delicious. The fried chicken was fried and seasoned very good. The salad bar has lots of toppings. The cornbread is up there with my own. It was perfectly sweetened and fluffy. The bread pudding was excellent; the sauce makes it top tier. We will definitely be back. The dining room is a bit small. Hope you get a seat. Great price too. You sure get your money's worth.

There is a lot of parking around the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. You can sit at any empty table. Our waitress promptly filled our drinks. She was very friendly. Each day of the week they have different options on the buffet. The buffet area was kept clean and the food was hot. I had to let it cool a tad before enjoying it. The baked fish was so delicious. The bread pudding with the hot caramel sauce made the perfect dessert! Great place to have lunch. Around 15. This includes drink and tax!!

Plenty of freshly cooked buffet with familiar Cajun food items (gumbo, red beans, white beans & rice, fried & baked fish, fried & baked chicken, baked pasta, etc) with a decent salad bar. The best surprise is the homemade tartar sauce and the homemade bread pudding w/no raisins. A rum sauce if offered on the side, it's delicious but the bread pudding is SO good there's no need for the run sauce IMHO. The servers are friendly, helpful and prompt. The buffet bar is well monitored and kept tidy, clean and full. The restaurant is tmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. You'll be back.

This is my favorite place to eat! I love bringing my uncle here to the buffet for lunch or for dinner. Everything is good and the restaurant is clean and cheerful. The wait staff and front of house are so personable and it really does feel like you’re eating with family. I love the gumbo and the fried chicken. The spinach and artichoke dip is so much better than Houston’s. Louisiana Purchase Kitchen is a staple for me and my family. Also don’t sleep on the bread pudding. It’s incredible.

First off the price for two people is reasonable and affordable only 35 the seating is kinda packed in there and the line is a lil awkward cause not enough space . I believe everything was homemade minus the mashed potatoes. The fried chicken and the bread pudding was the best but the banana pudding tasted pasty I'm not sure how they made it but would definitely go back.
